THOMAS JORDAN

I think I have posted before that Catherine Eberle was Indian Kate from the famed Black Hawk war in 1832.  What you don't know about her is that when she escaped from the fighting at Bad Ax and found her way down the Mississippi, it was Thomas Jordan that found her and her companion.  His name is unknown and after he was nursed back to health by the Jordan family, he rejoined his people.  That is if he ever found his people.  Katie, as she was more affectionaly known, was taken in by the Jordan family and remained there until she married Probus Eberle.
